My applications eligibility has passed, so I hope that they do not have any further doubts once the security checks pass but it really seems like the process is never ending!!
I wonder why they want to interview you... it's really strange! I guess you will have to go but don't know where. Maybe get your wife to send an email to the MP to understand why this is happening to you.
Also you should email A CSE with the interview letter to the visa office you applied at...
WAIT...WHAT?!!! You have to give an interview??? I'm so shocked actually. They must have made a mistake saying it will be in Australia. Do you have a visa for Australia? This is weird and is making me feel weird.. I'm sure it will be fine as you have nothing to hide but it's just shocking that...
That's insane!! I've been waiting 5 months and I'm going crazy u have been waiting almost a year!!!! Props to u my brother. But I know ur almost there! Also last time the MP was contacted they said they can only enquire with CIC once a month.
I found out my status through various resources. Mostly through the local MP that my family friend contacts to ask for updates. My representative is not helpful much to be honest.
Mine is security verifications and I don't know specifically what type of background checks the others are in. One member who has been waiting the longest has completed security and now waiting ppr.
The first time I applied I got a lot of ghost updates and then right after boom a decision. So u will be getting a decision maybe this week or the next!
That's my point. Should not be random selection. What does a person have to submit / look like to not be doubted at all and be approved within 24h. Did he submit a PCC?
Wow this is amazing! Bryanna really provided great advice!! Don't pay for lawyers people- do research and ask here to get guidance and real help of genuine people. Maybe had I done that my visa would have been approved this fast too.
Okay, yeah I figured they are not doing criminal checks since its security but my representative says it doesn't hurt to submit. Then again she hasn't been much help at all! This forum has been more helpful ;)
@Bryanna i am wondering if I should submit a PCC now? Someone told me if I had submitted a PCC initially it would have been safer as it might have avoided the security verifications. Would it speed up the process somehow?
