No action still from CIC for 2016 applicants . The process has been pretty much on hold from the past 6 months.:( Wonder if we will see any activity this year (2017) in context to 2016 applicants getting Passport submission requests ??:) Would love to hear the views of other people as to what...

Did anyone got any Passport request lately from any visa office around the world ? It has been pretty much dead, with no activity happening anywhere. Wonder when we will see from action from CIC offices, if any left for the year 2017 ??

Thanks for your reply Kaka. It makes perfect sense. Secondly I hope they have not already met the 20000 annual target for 2017 because if that is already met they won't be issuing any more approvals this year & we will have to wait till 2018.

Thanks for your prompt reply Kaka. Just curious - I wonder how they decide to send some files to New Delhi for people from India and some stay here in Ottawa ? I really hope they do some action as you say after mid Sep 2017. It looks like is a dead case as of now.

Nobody knows what NDVO means or plans to do ? They are a Mystery to be solved ... Correct me if I am wrong, I think just in this blog there should be atleast 10 applicants who have their file at NDVO & not even 1 person has got the Passport request whether they submitted all their paperwork...
