If my application for TWP gets approved and I land in Canada... Am I allowed to leave to take a trip outside of Canada at any point in the duration of the TWP? Thanks for any help I can get, I have a couple of weddings to go to and was hoping I would be able to make it!

4 weeks - that seems pretty good! I think my LMO is being sent off on Monday 18th June - and I hope the result comes back positive beore 11th July because I am flying back to Canada that day so fingers crossed I can do a POE TWP!! Otherwise a quick trip to the border and back might be in order!

Thanks PPM! I am trying to work out the simplest and quickest option for the temporary work permit. How do I know for sure that my job isn't one of the ones that requires a medical exam (which then I would need to go through the London office)? Thanks again

I think for most work permit applications the employer needs to fill out an LMO in order for you to be able to apply for a work permit. There are some occupations that do not need an LMO, all the details are on the CIC website, I just can't remember what occupations it is that don't need an LMO.
