Will working in another country while processing hinder my application?

I am using a lawyer in Canada and will be using the office as my mailing, will that be sufficient since I'm going to be sending off my application from that very office and will have stuff mailed there too. I'm confused what you mean by if they reach me it will hinder processing, does that mean...

Will working in another country while processing hinder my application?

I plan on applying CEC near the end of when my work permit expires so I don't think I will be eligible for a bridee permit... However my friends are asking me to come on a year work visa to Australia with them to backpacking. Rather then waiting back in my home country, will it hinder my...

Received AOR on 3rd of April; application got denied exactly a week later

So if I have only 46 weeks where I work 30 hours or more does that mean I would have to rack in another 6 weeks of 30+ hours to get the year requirement? The other weeks I had 30 hours or less was when there were no shifts to go around for everybody. Does this mean the hours I worked less than...

Received AOR on 3rd of April; application got denied exactly a week later

Ok this was an unfair error. Converted to weeks whymeee exceeds the 52 weeks rule, just reapply since this is the officers fault in this case. Maybe can't do basic math and was lazy though 1 week is suspiciously short for a full response, actually the shortest response I have seen with cec ever...

Can I get a other manager (supervisor) to write my letter

I'm in the process of submitting and the head manager where I work who is in charge of everything agreed to write up a letter. However she is super busy all the time and would probably rush the letter and I don't blame her as she has lots of stuff she has to deal with on a day to day basis...

How to remain in Canada, extend to BWOP in my situation?

Thanks for the reply, so would I be eligible for implied status in that situation? I'm pretty confused with how implied status works, do we actually stay in Canada or flagpole etc. I don't want to stay in Canada illegally thinking I'm on implied status. Also I'm not sure what to do about plane...

    imformation regarding eligiablity

Education does not take part in the Canadian Experience Class. The rules are only interested in what skilled job you have performed with 1 year experience, so yes since your job is NOC B and you have 1.4 years experience you do qualify, I don't see why you won't.

Record 9,353 newcomers under CEC in 2012

I don't know if the 10k is a cap... or if it's just a target they want to reach. But if it's a cap why is it 10,000? Why such a low number? Of course if they are going to lower the requirements much MORE people are going to apply, then why have the cap so low... Makes no sense lol

After leaving canada in how much CEC application can be filled

Actually I've heard you only have one year to apply when leaving your canadian job. The experience however must have been in the last 3 years. Though someone prove me wrong that would be great but I'm sure you only have one year to apply when leaving your job not 3 years.

Is it worth going with a lawyer if you have the money?

I have quite a lot of money saved up and thinking about spending it for a lawyer to do my CEC application since it's for my future. Looking back at it, I only have one shot of applying at this program and want to get accepted the first time round. I have the experience required and the lawyers...

    Providing NOA (notice of assesment)

Here's my situation. I've been employed here in Canada since November 2011, and I only just applied for tax returns of my 2011 T4 a month ago. Apparently I won't see my NOA for 2011 soon as it's my first tax return and it's a maximum of 16 weeks to get, average 3-4 months so the month May by the...

Does it matter which employer in charge writes the letter?

I've explained the CEC to my employers. My job is chef and the person who hired me/schedules me is in charge of the kitchen and is the head chef. He said the staff is more than happy to write me up a letter but he says it's best the Restaurant manager writes the letter since the manager does all...

    NOC Code 6711

Hey just a quick question, you mean required skilled work experience do you mean the NOC requirements? I've been a linecook for around 20 months now here in Canada and it's on the skilled jobs list, however NOC requirments require years of resturant work or culinary school. I have neither and...

Won't be able to apply until may, too late?

I guess we will all be fine if we send our documents within the coming months. What worries me is if I do send it, then by the time they get around to my application which could be over a year since I left my job due to my work permit. Which sucks since I would of sent the application few months...

Won't be able to apply until may, too late?

With the current forms and things I need to gather along with the fees for the CEC I probably won't be able to submit an application until mid may the earliest. Will I be at disadvantage? I heard theres some sort of a cap. My work permit expires fall but I already have all the hours needed, so...
