If you look at 2016 inland spreadsheet, there are a lot of December applicants who landed already. It looks like April-May and July-Aug and November applicants are still being processed.... lol when you call CIC, they say they are working on applicant who submitted before AUG 25 2016.... how is...

I believe they are working to finish 80% of 2016 applicant by the end of 2017...... hope nobody in this forum is that 20%..

AH.... it is becoming frustrating!! how did December 2016 applicants get landed like a 6 months before June/Aug Applicant.. I just checked the spreadsheet and September applications are landing as well. There is a big blank for July/Aug and Oct/November hahahaha

No I have not requested GCMS note yet.. I will wait until September and if I dont hear anything back, I will order GCMS note.

Not too long... they started my security check in July 4th 2017. Everything else is completed.... Its just that I only have couple months left in my passport validity (Dec 31 2017) and I have to take a risk of loosing everything in Canada to renew my passport...

I really dont understand what caused that super delay.... but anyways you are done!!!! I believe my case should be super straight forward as well... and I work for provincial government lol which I hope make things little easier...

I called./.. the agent was able to tell me my security check started in July 4th... and also said it is the longest thing... she was also able to tell me my background check was done....... So stupid process, they could have started my security check before hand since it is done by outside agency!
