I concur. This wait, in a way, is worser than the past few months where nothing much happened for months on end. But now, we are constantly on tenterhooks in anticipation before the 'Ghost' arrives and then, there is still one more hurdle to cross before the final mail. Jeeze.

From what I know, the online profile will never show Eligibility is met before the application is approved and PPR is triggered.

Think you need to loosen up Mate. Don't worry. Just calm down, call up one more time and ask the right questions. Security and criminality won't take much time unless you have a criminal history/lived in war-torn areas. Just check your eligibility status (If that's met, it shouldn't take much...

So your Eligibility wasn't Met/Recommended Passed before? Did you order GCMS notes?

You can probably call 'em and find out. If Eligibility is met, then it shouldn't take too long, I'd think. You can get an ADR at any time but if your Documents are in order, even that wouldn't be an issue. Nothing to worry really.

After the application is approved, does it go to the LVO for Final Review or is the PPR Mail directly triggered by the Case Agent?

There's something I don't understand though. I thought this EE was a 6 month thingie by and large and only rare cases exceed the timeline. I woulda thought that was time enough to approve or reject an application.

Just saw this. ANY aspect under review will take months. Eligibility/BG Check/Security/Criminality. That's pretty much a given.

What's the difference between Eligibility met and recommended pass?

Thanks, Mate. Now, that's a relief. I can go back to normalcy and just wait for further updates, if any.

Made my first call today. The Agent was pretty helpful. Looks as if my file is at Ottawa. Medicals: Passed Eligibility: Recommended Passed No ADR. Background Check: No Update as yet. Meaning not started I think. Request the experienced folks to let me know whether this looks ok so that I...

Nah, Mate. I think your timing is pretty good. Between the 4th and 5th Month is when you are almost guaranteed some kinda movement atleast as regards the prelim checks. It's not the PPR request but rather, the uncertainty of it all. After a point, one is almost relieved to get some kinda...

Join the crowd, albeit a small one. I've had no update since the Meds passing so I think it's time to see just what stage the Application is at. I've heard blokes getting PPR straight from IP1 but not sure how common it is. It'd be better if we have a look-see at the GCMS notes after the 4th...

AOR - October 11 Meds passed - Nov 10 Not a peep after that. Could save up enough bread and retire in peace by the time there's an update. :D
