I think hwat i have heard and seen from the trend of trackitt applications,
August is a bit slow for applicants as most of the Canadian workers go on vacation and offices are usually half the strength.
The positive news is applicants from Feb abd Mar-2013 have started getting medical requests...

Refer to the link above, new prgram announced for quebec in August, 2013.
20,000 new applications and they dont need French anymore.
I was in the same situation last year. I decided to change my employer and shift to Toronto with a new work permit and new employer,
now i have applied in July with 4 months of experience from employer in Ontario and 3.5 yrs in Montrel, Quebec.
I havent received AOR yet, lets see hw it goes.
It...
Yes, for CEC u dont need an arranged employment letter. If some employer gives a reference letter in the format of an AEL, CIC might consider it as a reference letter and process normally as explained in some cases by nick_ind.
I have 2 yrs of emperience with 2174 (Interactive media developer) and now I m working on 2146 (Aerospace Engineer) from past 4 months.
I already filed my application on June 27. will this have an adverse or favourable situation?
Do you think it is a good idea to have a FSW application i parallel to CEC?
I filed my CEC on June 27th, was wondering if I need to start FSW application, as this year FSW programme will be faster and open to many professions.
You do not need an Arranged employment letter if you are applying under CEC, all you need is a reference letter stating the points as mentioned in CEC documents checklist.
Arranged employment letter is usually for prospective candidates who are seeking PR thru FSW or other Provincial programmes...
Yeah,,, i had the same desgination for 2 years, but i have filed my application as NOC 2173. I think thats the best way known.
immaterial of the program u got work permit, special exemptions, what matters is the NOC code under which u got Canadian experience. Use 2011 codes
Sent my application on 26th of June. It was received today on 2nd July.
The Visa officer's strike and the sumnmer holidays might delay our AOR's considerably
