I was (still am) in US when I applied for Canadian Immigration. At the time, my passport had my home country's home address. I never faced any issues with my application. Bottom line, you are good to go. No need to worry!

@Fazeel, You should not discourage people like this. How do you know everything in advance? Every case is different. If she is qualified, eligible and prepares her file properly, provide all the necessary documentation then why the hell in this world will somebody reject her case? Everything...

Dear Salsa, Congratulations! Just a quick question. Did you receive any email notification from the Buffalo office that your passport had been mailed out to you or did you just receive your passport in the mail on one fine day without having any prior knowledge about it (that it'd been shipped)?

Did your friend have the same concern before marrying for the 2nd time? What did he do at that time? If nothing and his wife's sponsorhip application was still accepted, I don't think it matters how many marriages does he do or a person does and apply for the sponsorship for each of their wives.
