Gaurav, Is open work permit comes with validity ( expiry dates) ? If yes , What will be minimum duration we can expect once we apply. I have no plans to apply, since my Closed WP is valid until 2016

Gaurav In in opinon , withdrawing will further delay the application status,its good that you are not withdrawing the application.Apparently money is taken , which indicates they are CIO working with thin staff ( due to strike)
