I am Aug 2016 applicant, I just received SA and AIP letter last week,... if you look at the spreadsheet, it looks like people applied in May/June 2016 are landing and people who applied at September/Dec 2016 are landing... I dont know what is going on lol

You are waiting for your DM on applicant side! It includes medical, background and security.... most likely you are waiting for your security cleared just like me... I heard from some professional (Profi....er) saying it could take 2-6 months..

Hope we get out DMs soon! My security check was started July 4th. You should call CIC and ask when your security check has been started so you can at least establish expectations! I think background check is completed when we receive AIP, is that correct??

Hey profiler! I just talked to the agent and was able to find out they started my security check in July 4th 2017.. I saw DM on my sponsor side at sometime 20ish of June 2017. They started my security check so slow!! Does it usually take 3-6 months...???

No.. the only way is to go back to my country to get extension unless I have PR card. I guess all I can do is just to wait and pray lol Worst case, I will just land before Dec 31 2017 (as CIC promised they will finish about 80%) and be prosecuted for not returning back lol I can stay in Canada...

Thank you ! I am from south korea.. and yea for sure I never lived such an exciting life.. Just to add little more detail.. CIC asked me to get report and finger print from RCMP/My resume/ government held position explanation which they received sometime in May 2017. I am in Victoria BC!
