yes in paper based vfs doesnt let u apply without necessary documentation, whle in online u can submit just few things and apply u have more chances when u send more documentation

the letter u mentioned should be on company letterhead, signed and stamped by company director /owner, address and phone number. They will probably try to confirm the company is registered etc. so u need to give complete info regarding it. I dont think u need to notarize it

u can go to cic page, make an account there and link ur application online from different ppl's post i have gathered that some people got medical call after one month or if the medical was upfront it was passed. I dont know when do they give passport back
