I doubt that. I think that my case was one off. Hope for the best :) I have seen people with bare minimum requirements get student visas for Canada.

Exactly, my application is not SPP. I do not have a conditional offer from the university. University requirement is around 100 for TOEFL score and my score is 108 out of 120. I will emphasize on this point in my SOP.

My exact reason is that VO is not convinced I will return upon completion of my stay and on arriving on that conclusion he has stated: Travel history and Purpose of Visit. The other reason that he has mentioned is Insufficient Language qualifications, in exact words.

Is SDS applicable to all the insitituitions & Universities in Canada? Or has it only replaced SPP? I have got admit from University of Waterloo, do I need to go by SDS for student permit? Also, I have only given TOEFL, do I need to give IELTS also?
