I'm pretty sure the height and eye colour are info they need to print on the PR card. I've seen other people post PPRs with the same request.

Are wedding ceremony pictures essential for a qualified PR application ?

Planning a big wedding can take a long time, so along with your city hall photos you should probably submit evidence that you are planning your bigger event. For example the contract for the venue you are going to book (usually you would have this a year in advance of the wedding) or receipt for...

It might not be a very quiet week ... for upcoming PPRs there's only 4 people on the spreadsheet for September, so we're not going to hear very much news as they cover the September apps :(. I hope we see a shower of CoPRs for all the people waiting on them though.

There was a crazy moment in november/december when sponsorship approvals were coming in about 7-10 days. Then the holidays happened. Either way, Mississauga is kicking ass.

I'd say now would be a good time to give the call centre a call. Also some VOs still send things by snail mail. I got my Sponsor Approval from Ottawa (oddly) by mail.

How did you write your "Outline of Relationship"?

In ours we also included a brief outline of our future travel plans during the immigration process and plans after landing. We included things like plans for having children, finding employment, where we would live, my plans to go back to school etc. Basically all the things we currently have to...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

The FBI Clearances can take a bit longer than 60 days but not always. My husband did his in july and it we got the clearance in late september, so that was a tad longer than 60 days. I would order it ASAP , send the passport right away and with the passport maybe include proof that you've...

Medical requested is if your app takes longer than a year and they ask you to re-do it. This usually doesn't happen for Ottawa applicants :)

HELP me about continously living in Canada w/ expired PR & spouse sponsorship

I can't really comment on your legal status. This may be somewhat blunt; however, I can't help but feel that you aren't committed to settling permanently in Canada. If you do indeed plan to move to this country perhaps a bit more effort would be encouraging. If not, perhaps you should not be...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Tiny, they want the FBI clearances to be no older than 90 days before the app was filed. Even if it doesn't get opened for another month or so, they will still know what day your application was submitted :)

    coronory Angiogram-Should I be worried?

It sounds like he advised for it for your dad's well being aside from the immigration case. Since the DMPs don't give you the medical results doing this test on your own might give you some answers and perhaps help your dad keep himself healthy. I think you should do the test.

    Marriage is ending.

Honestly once the heartbreak passes you will realize you've dodge a huge bullet by living permanently with this man. If he is not committed enough to you to see this process through no matter how long it takes, how committed to you do you think he would have been once he was here? I'm in a very...
