bahar21, can you do us a favor and check your ECAS tonight and tomorrow night and see if it changes over the coming 24 hours? Just trying to make sure it is updated on Thursdays. They mention in their own website (before logging in to ECAS) that the data is usually updated on Tuesday and it is...

I meant the sorting of entries; is it the filing day, start date of processing in Damascus/Ankara, in-process date, or a combination? BTW I hope you and the rest of us will get PPR soon ...

Guys, can we please stop bombing the pages with unnecessary comments that just add to our frustration without any use? We all share the same burden more or less. I had to leave my wife after our wedding and come back to Canada just a couple of days ago, because Ankara VO refused her study permit...

I've head of cases where the situation doesn't radically change, but they issue visa for the same individual who was refused the first time, there are no definite rules. It's funny how her refusal letter is dated two days after E-cas changed to In-Process. They may have triggered processing her...

Alireza, my wife had the very same problem! We reapplied for study permit on July 31 with more evidence of ties to home country, etc. and are crossing fingers. I doubt we can reunite by September, but the sooner the better. Some people say other VOs are faster compared to Ankara when it comes to...

Guys, even though A+M kindly covered almost all of it here, the following link seems to explain CAIPS (our cases) and FOSS (cases processed in Canada) : http://immipedia.ca/Ordering_FOSS_and_CAIPS_notes

humm... I like that ;) She's from Iran. We submitted after the Damascus CIC was closed though, so we didn't go through the file transfer. I know for temporary visas there's a separate queue for Iranians to preserve the fairness for the people who applied via Damascus. However they don't mention...
