I am really not sure my friend if you have done upfront medicals. For EE to submit your profile you have to do upfront medical. If you've done one already for CEC, then should ask a lawyer if the same will be valid for EE and if you can still create your EE profile.

I Agree, if you are applying for extension to remain in canada as a worker while your PR application is in process it is implied that you're applying for BOWP. By the way in the form you have to select Open Work Permit as there is no other option specified as "BOWP".
