That’s wonderful to hear! I have a question regarding your spouse. How long can your spouse live in Canada with you? I plan on moving to Halifax within a few weeks and I want my spouse with me. Now based on the timeline it’s usually 12 months give or take - if my spouse comes with me in April...

Thank you for responding. I checked both GCKey and ECAS and the Medical Exam was received and passed. Is it safe to say - since I haven’t received any Biometric Request up to now that it doesn’t apply to me? Regards

Hi Saima26, Is your application an Outland Sponsorship? If yes, were you able to carry out your biometrics in Canada or did you have to fly to a VAC to have it done? I look forward to your feedback.

She can schedule a medical exam within Canada that wouldn’t be an issue.

They do, but the Principal Applicant is the one that gets the application steps (Medical, biometrics, interview) to complete. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone, Has anyone seen the so called “Progress Bar” they’re referring to in the email? I just checked and it looks the same as before. Has anyone seen the Progress Bar?

If you’re the Principal Applicant, you won’t receive that email. The Sponsor will, have your partner check his/her email
