Definitely a good sign. Took them a bit over a week to approve our application once I was able to log into ecas. So expect something very soon.

Was wondering, how long after you get your sponsorship approval letter will there be an update in eCAS to show this? My eCAS status still just shows 1 line with "application received" for both sponsor and applicant.

Quick question, from your experiences with the HK office. Are all communication from them through email, or do they sometimes use snail mail? We plan to sell our house and move to a temporary address until we get the COPR. Just worried that from the time we move to the time they actually change...

Holy sh*t! Just got my sponsorship approval a few minutes ago. On a Sunday morning (Canada time), I can't believe it, they work on Sundays! What a giant load off my chest. For the rest of the Julyers, hang in their, you guys will definitely hear something this week.

You and husband will have different UCI numbers, you get yours when you get AOR1 or sponsorship approval, and your spouse gets their own UCI when the VO it is transferred to sends them AOR2. BTW, that receipt number thing is hit and miss, miss more than anything. I have only heard of a few...

I'm getting impatient, but will try to stick it out until the 25th of this month. I remember when I applied the wait was 90 days, so will stick to that mental timeline. But if no word from them then I'm gonna start looking at raising some hell (in a nice Canadian way).
