Annnnd there goes my good luck. We’ve been sent to Rabat instead of Mississauga. Ugh. I haven’t been able to find any info in any of the formus for their timeline. But it won’t be Mississauga fast I’m sure. Congrats to all of you who got chosen.

Medical Passed!!!!! I saw the update today :) On GcKey So that was 3 days from the day of the exam......Feb 21-24th

He was able to do both yes, thankfully. We waited it out for the medical just for that reason lol. Luckily the IRCC powers that be made it happen. Damn, yea you’d think the capital city would have the resources. Smh. Hahahaa oh man...this process is def a lesson in patience if nothing else...

My husband was in the same boat. Two doctors in Rabat, 2 in Casablanca and he’s in Kesh. Biometrics only avail in Rabat. Almost an entire 24hrs of travel and apts. It’s kinda crazy. Luckily for him at least, there wasn’t a backlog of apts, so he did get in rather quickly. Good luck to your...

This is only true for doctors who don’t use e-medical. Josh and I were both curious I think to see the timeline for the e-medical process specifically as ours are in that format. No need to bring pics as they take them for you.

Lol yup. He said the same as everyone else, biometrics was super easy and really quick. He was there first thing when they opened. Medical took a bit longer ofc, but it all went smoothly. He’s headed back home now :)

Morning y’all...hope everyone’s week is going well. Short update from us... Biometrics done: registration number and and “Completed” status already changed in GcKey Medical done: completed with emedical so we’ll see how long it takes for the result :)

Emails are always delayed a day or so from ecas/gckey. Totally normal. Just be glad u received ur medical already. Most of us are still waiting.

They do allow for appointments yes. It’s sadly not very local. It’s a about a 6 hour trip in each direction. Would be nice to not have to do it on two separate occasions.

Guess you were right on this one. Provincial employees yes but Feds no. Didn’t seem to make a difference for me. Still no medical. Over a week since bio request. I hope it’ll come before the bio request expires :(

So in Nova Scotia it’s called Heritage Day. And it is a stat holiday. And all government employees, federal, provincial or municipal will have it off. As well as banks

I’m not sure lemme check but for sure anyone who’s case is being processed in Mississauga they’ll be out for the day for sure.

Just an update for everyone: It’s a holiday here for us on Monday, Family Day. Government workers have the day off. So I wouldn’t expect anything new till at least Tuesday :)

Quick qs... Does anyone know if they send MR only after PA has submitted biometrics or its independent? My spouse has to travel across the country to where the visa office is for biometrics, and ofc, the panel physician is located in the same city. He was hoping he could do it in one trip...
