Reading about the dates you all post here, to me it looks like the processing time is around 2-3 months, but it takes the CIC around 6-8 weeks to register the application but once it's done than they make the SA decision in a week or two. Am I correct?

Do you know if they check credit history of Sponsor? I am sure that they check if the sponsor got any social help in the past years, criminal record and stuff like that but what else do they check?
