Interesting. Did they agent tell you if your file has.moved to Ottawa VO? They normally tell this if you have a genuine reason to want to raise a CSE and want to know where your app is. And if your app is in Ottawa VO, you are through R10.

Simple, single applicant, non complex apps are getting PPR. I am moving with a wife and kid, me and wife both have 8 yrs exp across 4-5 organizations... so much info in an app causes delays.

This makes it interesting. Someone (Asivad Anac i think) was hypothesizing on PPRs being coming with instructions to directly submit at VO. That is more or less proved here. Could this be causing delays? Could we be back to the mercies (read efficiency or lack thereof) of our local VOs for...

Although CIC is more or less done with our applications they are holding back on our PPR so that there is no prcedence for PPRs coming way too soon than the promised 6 month time frame. They are calibrating expectations of applicants. Mind games you see!

Actually am wrong on that one... i did see someone who went for in process to DM without PPR and is waiting for over a month now... this wait it making me analyse randomness

Also, chew on this - All such cases of DM on ECAS before PPR have had their ECAS move to DM straight from "Application Received" without going to "In Process". All PPRs from ECAS "In Process" had PPR first before their ECAS changed to DM. Which means we are safe :)

I hope we get PPR before DM on ECAS. Heard horror stories from people getting DM on ECAS but waiting for PPR for ever. I will definitely shit bricks in such a scenario.
