@Mum_girl... u remember i was talking to you about my the UCI number not working whereas my application number works... It was mainly because i was doing a mistake in entering the info.. i was actually punching in my husband's UCI number along with my details... Silly me... :P

Guys i have a concern... what exactly does it mean when u mention travel history... Does it mean stay outside India for some no. of months??? Or even short visits are considered... As i have just had a short visit of say a week outside india for a vacation....

Thanks Mannat... The Passport and the receipt of payment is said and done already on Mar 13th.. Already received at NDVO on Mar 14th. But since my husband, located in Canada had to send the documents from there, we missed to keep photocopies of the PCC here with me... So i could not send a copy...

Hey, If you are lucky you should get it in a month's time... But going through the updates on forum... i see the average is 2.5 to 3 months..

Hey Mum_girl That piece of info was really quite useful.. :) Specially the part which speaks about the ECAS being updated weekly... It really is a pain to see no updates on our ECAS... i just have a doubt... when i try to retrieve my info using my UCI, i find no records... but when i use...

@papu - Yes u need to send your old passport too along with your new one.. Its mentioned clearly in the pdf what they send during the Passport request.

nanediniz Well the website says, 10 months... but hoping this month end or at the max may... One of the forum member has already received her VISA stamped on her passport... Lucky her... :) Since my timeline is same as hers... Fingers CROSSED...

My application was received by the CIC office on 24th Jan 2013 as mentioned in my timeline
