    GCMS Notes Eligibility Assessment

thanks, I just found it as well. Guess I've to figure out what 'CEC pursuant to R87.1(2)' means now . These guys sure know how to make it complicated :-X 11. Procedure: Determining admissibility Once the visa office has determined that an applicant is a member of the CEC pursuant to R87.1(2)...

    GCMS Notes Eligibility Assessment

Thanks for pointing out that article, I've looked through that PDF (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op25a-eng.pdf) but cannot find your statement. Could you point out where I can find it so I can read it and reduce my stress haha :P Thanks!

    GCMS Notes Eligibility Assessment

I believe you're right. This would also implicate that getting MR is not a reason to believe that the eligibility and admissibility checks have passed, so you could still be rejected, even though you did get a medical request.

    mistakes found after submission!

Good luck, guess you can try sending them the updated form, but even in the 'automated' reply they send when they receive you email, they mention that these guys do need the application number.

    mistakes found after submission!

I don't think it would hurt, but as far as I understand it doesn't make any sense to do it. They used to work like this: Officer X goes through application and checks if all documents are signed etc. If everything looks OK, AOR gets created and documents transfer into the system. If something...

i applied on October/31 whether new rules will effect me or not

Can you show me some source that proofs that? How is that fair for people who apply on the 7th or 8th? They do not publicly announce that they are changing the rules so if I sent in my application on the 8th, I did so in good faith and even if they receive them on the 10th, I don't think it...

    mistakes found after submission!

Re: mistakes found after mailed out the application! There is nothing you can do. You have to wait until you either have the AOR, since that will give you an application number, or when they return the application to you

    mistakes found after submission!

Re: mistakes found after mailed out the application! There is nothing you can do, but odds are you might get the application returned to you in a few weeks. Hope you didn't applied under any of these NOC codes http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2013/2013-11-08.asp, as...

Gap insurance while waiting for OHIP - implications of getting pregnant

If they won't deny you, why would anyone take insurance for anything? It's a business, if you get a serious illness and don't have insurance, no one is going to give you insurance for existing illnesses. They are not here to make your life more affordable. So if you plan to get pregnant, you...

i applied on October/31 whether new rules will effect me or not

Think you're ok since the 'send date' time stamp on your application shows November 8th. If you shipped on the 9th you might also still have been ok, after that the new rules apply

i applied on October/31 whether new rules will effect me or not

You seem to be telling people about Alberta in multiple threads Why don't you point these people to the exact resources online (official sites only) and guide them to pages where it shows that they can apply for program X, instead of just posting your mind set.

Keeping(Not closing) the existing CEC file

no, only email. I believe that emailing them is not the correct way to close an application, you actually need to sent them a withdrawal form. If you did sent them that form, you'll be out of luck. If you didn't sent that form, they might ignore the email. But confirm with them.

i applied on October/31 whether new rules will effect me or not

you're good if you get AOR, if you made a mistake and they return your application, you cannot apply for CEC anymore

Anyone went for medical exam to Dr. Lyndon at St. clair, Toronto?

I called around and I think $250 is actually one of the more expensive ones. I would say it averages more around $200 after tax. Does anyone has better insight in how long it takes to receive the results back, how come is varies between 3 days and 2 weeks? That doesn't make a lot of sense with...

    November 2012 Applications

My status got updated to 'In Process' finally, after getting my MR on Monday. Sad thing is that my notes show my ex common law partner is still attached to my application, while I did sent them a request to remove them 5 months ago... I have send them another request, explicitly requesting her...

Anyone went for medical exam to Dr. Lyndon at St. clair, Toronto?

The used the picture on my application, so guess that's why the photo was requested. It might still be optional though, but would just bring it just in case. Got told that it might take a couple of weeks for the results to be uploaded ( :o), basically as soon as they get them returned they will...
