Seniors please comment, As every one is aware that some 6-12 letter holders have been transferred to PVO from LVO. Some of them has also been issued with MR. As far as I understand that MR are issued after background checks. Does it mean background checks have also been completed on our files...

Totally agreed. Reputation comes before merit. I do not believe that each application is decided on its merit as said by CIC. This is rubbish.

Bruv. Lot of things have happened in last three years. We are not LVO that nothing happens/moves.

Got e-mail from consultant and gave me news of 18 months letter. Also sent me all the forms to fill and advised to send to LVO. Looking at forms it seems LVO has not touched our files at all. It is making me sick at the moment. Filling these forms will be big job. Rubishhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Many many congrats to every one who got medical/update document request. I have not received any thing from VISA office yet other than 6-12 months wait letter. Just sent e-mail to my consultant in canada asking whether they have any update. Please pray for me and every one else.

I know it is good to be optimistic. But in my experience when it comes to visas/immigration (especially canadian immigration), always plan for worst. If LVO says 18 months, it means at least 18 months. In last wait letter, they mentioned 12 months. Now every one thought we will get MR, update...

I don't trust CIC any more. I have started hating Canada even before I have gone there.

This is very very bad news. Who knows what happens after 18 months. Looking at previous record of CIC, I am not optimistic. The whole process is shambolic. When I applied it was 12-14 months, now it is almost 3 years and more. It is total discrimination as they are giving visas to other...
