Hard to tell is normal or not. You may call CIC for further clarification and hopefully they may follow it.

same as you, eligible for both FSW and CEC but invited for FSW... no further updates for my case after RCMP submitted on Jun 18...fingers crossed...

Coz we are FSW and seems CEC is given to priority.CEC moves faster than FSW.
