In may case also they issued receipt of payment along with AOR but when , DD was en-cashed only after a few days after AOR, I checked with my bank DD en-cashed date.

I think it should be ok your friend making DD and send it to OINP, first point is that it will reach soon and second ask your friend to take DD from TD bank it does not have expiry date. But just wait for confirmation from OINP who know it is already en-cashed....

But really it's very frustrating, no knowledge what is going on, no nominations, no AOR, no response to email or direct call. Others not in forum getting nominations or not? Ontario is not issuing any new invitation so definitely there could not be so many of applicants in Nov, Dec and Jan...
