Visa got refused. Reason stated. 1, family ties in Canada and country of residence. What should i do ? What do they mean by family ties

I also got a correspondence letter without receiving a request for medical. I did my biometrics on jan 16th and it was updated on my account the same day. I feel like it’s going to be a refusal :(

Is it possible to get a medical request after receiving a correspondence letter or is CL the last step.

That’s why I’m stressed out. They haven’t asked for a medical yet. Does that mean they’re refusing the visa. Which is why they may have sent a correspondence letter? I’m so confused.

Our timelines are exactly the same. I applied under non sds on jan 8th. Did my biometrics on 16th jan. It was updated onto my account the same day. From there no updates. Not even a confirmation/correspondence letter or medical request. No messages. Still waiting...

Congrats!! I applied on Jan 8th under non sds, gave biometrics on Jan 16th and no updates after that... not even a request for medical.... idk what’s going on.
