One does not usually get an acknowledgement from CPC-Ottawa except if you politely request for one. When I updated my POF I requested for an acknowledgement and I think they honoured it.

While I am sorry about your rejection I doubt the validity of your reported statement from your university consultant. Perhaps there is more to your rejection. You may want to review your application docs against CIC claims.

The average time from the request day is 30 days. You are not alone as mine is long overdue, too.

You are welcome. the reported number of hours varied. In the spring/summer I had 40 hrs, otherwise I had between 25 and 35 hours based on whether I took classes or not. I submitted a single letter for both RA and TA.
