Hi All, I have been checking the CIC website for an idea of how long it takes to process the BOWP - they are currently working on Apr4 apps with a processing time of 35 days. Does that mean it takes 35days from the date they are currently working on (apr4)? Also, if someone has submitted this...

Does anyone know which number on a work permit is the document number? Is it the Client ID or is it that number in the top right hand corner? Starts with BB... Or is it the number under that?

Was just reading this thread.. what is a 'bridging open work permit'? I think I will need to apply for one while I wait on my PR application..

Hi All, Has anyone gotten any further since getting their AOR? I got an email saying my application was received and payment taken but I keep checking my status online and it hasn't changed from received.. should I have seen something else by now??

Mailed Aug3 - Delivered Aug7 - Are we notified via email if they have "received" the application at the intake office??? Or is it something that can be checked on the CIC website?

Just mailed off my PR application!! Once it gets received at the intake office I'll be waiting on my AOR :) So excited!!

I would suggest you get in contact with your lawyer to find out if he/she sent the form to CIC. They aren't asking your spouse to go through another medical exam just provide proof that she has done one. Go to your lawyer first and see what's been done with the form...

How do you determine which immigration office is to process my permanent residency application.. I think mine is supposed to be the CPP-O (in Ottawa) but that only says Temporary resident visa... is this right?? Please help!
