I know someone with a similar case as mine who got the visit visa. As with other things related to Canadian immigration there is no consistency in their processes and everything is very subjective. Its all luck as far as I can tell.

I also applied for TRV in November 2012 which was before my Rukhsati (took place in Feb 2013) and sent all the relevant documents including a detailed letter from my husband explaining that ours would be a full marriage case with the rukhsati was taking place in Feb and that he wanted to take me...

I agree with you...its getting to the point where I can't even focus on anything else except for this immigration business!Its a constant source of tension for me..added to that i have to shuttle between my in laws and my parents andI am thoroughly miserable in the process.

I have contacted CIC but they give no response and his MP was no help either. Now my husband has made an ATIP request online..I suggest you do the same to know what progress has been made on your file. What is your timeline?
