Unfortunately the main issue is that they do not really update ecas... or the CIC account linked to the application. It still says Not needed at this time, and we already had the interview...

What do you mean exactly? I just checked my ecas account and it is the same information since January 6th. You may be able to see an update only because your own application status has been updated, but I do not think that there is any system/process change actually (Tuesdays vs. Everyday)

Linking MyCIC account to PR application

We already had the interview, but the CIC online account states "no interview required at this time". You will see whether or not your application was approved immediately if they update your profile... we do not really know how the system that we use is linked to their own system.

Did any of you create a CIC account and then link it to your paper sponsorship application? Just curious if there is any information, especially for those who already had an interview, waiting for the decision.

For the interview we have been asked to bring, among other documents: "Sponsor`s entries and exits records – please note that this document could be requested at immigration offices in Cuba." Does anyone know how long does it take to obtain these papers?

Interview scheduled even if the notes recommended to be waived

The first set of notes mentioned "Interview recommended to be waived". The 2nd sent of notes was identical to the first set, no mention about any new issue. I read a posting where CIC asked for an interview mentioning as the reason "quality assurance program"

Interview scheduled even if the notes recommended to be waived

Hello, Have you seen situations where the interview (Family class sponsorship/Outland) was scheduled even if the GCMS notes recommended the interview to be waived? The last notes that I ordered did not mention anything about this. Thank you.

This is what I read on the form: "The principal applicant, their spouse or common-law partner (if applicable), and all dependent children 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form." So, my understanding is that your husband's daughter does not have to fill her own form...

In your situation, I would do the following: 1. First I would send a letter to the same address where I sent the package; I will tell them the situation, add a copy of the confirmation that you got from the courier that they received your application, where they could see the name of the person...
