    Seriously, you will be fine as long as you make sure to mention your real intentions with her and why you are marrying a woman who is 23 older than you. It's very likely that the CIC people will call you for an interview which might increase your waiting time. Best of luck, for all of us!

    Alibaba, we are on the same boat. I am frustrated as well, feeling like trash... this is so unhealthy, sometimes it's hard not to think about bad things. I am sure we are all doing this because our partners, CIC should make it a bit easier and shorten the time of wait . . .

    Was he deported only for being illegal in Canada? was there any conviction against him? that's weird, I say that because if NON-STATUS PEOPLE may apply under FCS why would the CIC people deport them once they do apply? Sometimes I can't understand these policies, they say that out of status can...

    If you lost your old passport of course you are not able to submit it, it's lost. (duh!) When they asked for passports, they meant passports from the countries you have citizenship. If you are only Indian citizen, your current Indian passport will be just fine.

    For applications 'in Canada Class', what are the busiest CIC offices? I mean, If the CPC folks are not satisfied with the information on my application and my files are transferred to the local CIC office... and I am called for an interview, which offices are more likely to take "forever"...
