I was in the same situation on 2008. Of course you can go to your home. When you come back on the airport one of the officers will give you your new Work Permit but you would have to pay to him 150$.for that. Dont worry and happy flight!

I think you sholud not go for another IELTS test because your IELTS was vaild when you applied to VO. long PR process is their fault not yours :o

I think you should do not worry. My CEC application was refused because of my IELTS score.My score is 5. In my refusal letter they told me I can apply again but now under FSW category but i should pay processing fee again. I did that and now i am waiting their decision again. Do not worry you...

I just received my visa today after 50.days from Seattle 8)

I dont know for applying in person. I applied by mail on April 12.and just received my visa today on May 27.It takes about 50.days for Seattle.

Same story happened with me.They returned me back my applications because i forgot to choose which visa office i wish to send my application.After i fix that small problem i have send to them again the same application.Now is everything ok. Send everything like last time and do not worry 8)
