H1B - Alberta PNP File Number / Certificate Timeline

In my opinion, it is best to provide AINP with your new address even though your paystub still has your old address. I believe AINP request recent paystubs just to verify your employment status in US. Anyway, when AINP request additional documents, you have to include your address update, and it...

    H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discussion!

Manual (hard card) submissions are usually slow. I'm in the same situation for FBI clearance (it's been almost a month but the payment hasn't been withdrawn from my bank account yet). The California website (http://ag.ca.gov/fingerprints/visaimmigration.php) does not specify the timeline, but...

Hi Deepun, PCCs are valid for 3 months, which means that they must have been issued no more than 3 months before you submit you application to Buffalo. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp) BTW how long did it take to get your PCC from FBI?

Thank you for sharing your timeline, rsamra. I believe the file number you posted was the first 4 digits. But we are sharing the last 4 digits of our file number (the first 4-6 digits are the same for all applicants). So, do you mind sharing the last 4 digits of your file number? And here's...

FBI Fingerprint card instructions (doc file): http://cbi.state.co.us/id/Forms/Instructions%20on%20filling%20out%20a%20fingerprint%20card.doc This is for CBI (Colorado Bureau of Investigation), not for CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services), but the codes are the same. (The fingerprint...

H1B - Alberta PNP File Number / Certificate Timeline

Thank you for sharing your timeline, Nav. Our file numbers are usually issued in sequencial order (but the applicants with preassessment tend to received small file numbers). However, it is difficult to predict who is going to receive document-request/nomination from AINP because not only...

ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

I had the same question and asked my lawyer. The answer was that we are not required to submit notarized copies at this time. But any document not in English or French must be translated by a certified translator and we need to send original PCCs to Buffalo, not copies. BTW my nomination was...

    H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discussion!

I sent my fingerprint card to FBI on Dec 2 by postal mail, but I haven't heard anything, either. According to FBI website, the process takes "Approximately 8-10 weeks for processing, upon receipt to the FBI." So there's no need to call FBI at this point.

It should be faxed to AINP. The PN Acknowledgement Form says: "TO: Alberta Immigration Nominee Program Fax: (780)427-6560"

    H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discussion!

I wrote "Buffalo, USA" in the box. Since our nomination letter specifically tells us to submit our application to Buffalo, there shouldn't be any problem writing "Buffalo" in this box.

Re: H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discuss No, sadly I haven't sent my application to Buffalo yet. My nomination was approved last month, but now I'm still waiting for my PCCs. I have collected all documents except PCCs, so my plan is to submit my CIC...

For the documents which we need to send to CIC, you should check this website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf It is Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo and you should use it as your checklist. As you can see on the list, no educational documents are required...
