Hi gypsygirl, I'm from Manila, Philippines. Yup, thanks. They are quite fast when requesting passport and additional documents but the agony will start after submitting the passport. We usually need to wait for 45-90 days before they hive you back your passport with visa. It's a case to case...

Badhet, i got mine from NBI. NBI clearance is what the embassy needed. make sure you'll put VISA CANADA as your purpose and don't forget the dry seal. It's a very essential document so make sure it's correct.

maybe you can refresh your page an delete all the cookie and history on your browser then restart your computer. if this will not help, i think you need to wait for 2 days. ECAS is not very reliable and not updated so i suggest, we should just bear with the system.

algerina, what do you use to log in to ecas? use your details... receipt number or client ID number, bday and location..

hi torr, that's nice. in manila, they usually ask for the passport and ask for additional documents if need be. wish manila office could do something about it..

yup you should.. and put not applicable to those spaces that cant be applied to your situation.. dont leave any spaces blank.. put n/a or not applicable in every numbers..

Hi badhet, it depends on you. I attached 50 pics. 10 from the wedding, 10 from the honeymoon and 30pics with friends and families dated 2 years ago.. The others submitted more than 100, that's why the requirements weighed more than 8lbs..

Hi Adsh, just patiently wait for your turn, it will come to you. We are a month ahead of you so, i think next week you can log on with your receipt.. Don't follow the website, it's a week late. Good thing you check everything before you submit your application, its better to be safe than sorry...

you should do the medical now.. and submit the proof from ur MD along with ur application. make sure to follow what is listed in the checklist. i think that's the part 3..

i think, it will run from 4-8 months (routine cases), meaning no divorce or pending court cases, no children issues, no legalities involve, relationship is genuine an documents are authentic. there are some who applied last May 2009 got their visas last monday. imagine in less than 4 months...
