superboy, passports arrived Fort Erie and delivered to them already on March 4.. yeah.. counting 2 weeks business day for them.. so we may get passports back by the end of March.. will you land in BC border?

just checked the post office online, our parcel is still in post facility.. so slow. We put the parcel to post office at evening on March 1, and it was collected on March 2... anyway, i hope i can see update tomorrow.

good. I assume you are already in Canada, do you know if the PR card will automatically send to us ? or do we have to apply it separately? meantime, how about the SIN cards, because we have sin cards because we have work permit, so we have to apply as well?

don't worry. your PPR will come very soon ! It seems that Buffalo office is trying to clear up all the files, to achieve the processing time 11 months.. ( even they just adjusted to 12 months).. it will be your turn very soon!

me too, just sent them in the post office. Post office said it took 2 days to Ontario, and the e-mail from Buffalo says it takes 15 business days for the passport return, but I can see a lot of people can't get back the passport within one month.. assume they sent by express post canada as well.

it took me almost 12 months in my case.

We are already in Canada as we have work permit, we just got the PPR yesterday and will send the passport soon. Once passports are back, we will go to the border of Canada for landing( border between US and our city ), anyone has experience in landing in the border of Canada , please share.

I forgot who asked me to check the Ecas today, I just checked it and it has been updated with " Medical results have been received"... thanks. for people who are going to send the passport , how can you take a note for the eye color and height, do you write down on a sheet ?

Rubyalabur, got it. if I send by xpresspost, means I should use this envelope. anyway, I must send xpresspost and get the tracking number, passports are so important that we don't want to take a risk to lose them.. in the email, it didn't ask us to include the PPR email, how do you know it ?

superboy, there is the instructions that we have to supply the return envelope if we are in Canada, and the envelope should be in Canada Post’s Xpresspost - National service. However, do you know if we also have to this kind of envelope when we send the passports to this visa office? or can we...

hi! Rubyalabar, thanks a lot! finally I got it ! I am so happy today. The date of the norminate certificate was Feb 25, 2010, and it has been total one year that we got the PPR. so it hit the maxi 11 months for processing time. by the way, will i get offical mail about this ?
