    a month to return passport... they might be understaffed or something.... did they ask for any documents in 2 months or just waiting game...? Is ur application for single or married??

    How long is detroit embassy taking to issue PPR after file transfer?? VA2CA & VSrao got their request in 2-3 weeks... i also see few cases where it took 3 months so what seems to be the deciding factor?? Detroit File Transfer ppl can u pls advise... Can some one also post the their(Detroit)...

    between File transfer to PPR they took almost 3 months, did they ask you any Xtra documents? why was the delay? Did ur ecas show medicals recvd just b4 decision made..or ??

    Single Vs Married might make a difference... i dont think NOC matters... unless u have a job offer. They shld really do married b4 singles... as married ppl with kids require time to plan to move... :(

    U will get it shortly. Did u pay RRPF? Previously with Detroit consulate transfers we never used to see medicals recvd status b4 ppr. But i guess they are changing it now... possibly Detroit might be packed too... god only knows there approach.. lets see...

    No one knows a definite answer... Applying Citizenship / renewing PR is a federal thing... I dont think AINP stated anywhere that we need to be thr full 3 yrs or whatever... but a candidate intention should be to settle in alberta... so u go thr stay for a month cant get a job ... move to...
