you need to send canada Xpress post envelope if you have access to it, which is only available inside canada and not outside canada, if you send them other courier envelope they have mentioned in their email, they will return with their Normal slow mail and they dont send any tracking number...

Did your friend send PP to CPP-O or some other location?? is he based in Canada?? I have sent my PP from US, the worst thing is this peoples dont even send email when they mail out your PP, so you dont have any way to track, neither they reply to your emails, already sent 2. You are in complete...

It took me probably some 2-3 months to receive passport request after Ecas changed to medical received, Now its taking another 2 months after PASSPORT sent for stamping to CPP-O

Yep, I did FedEx my PP overnight and it reached there in CPP-O next day and that was the only way i was able to track my PP that it reached ottawa (thanks FedEx). Here in US most of the foreign consulates provide complete PP tracking services on their webistes, I know this since i do overseas...

Nah...that option was there before, when Detroit/buffelo consulate was open. Its is no longer an option, if it had I could have easily drove to detroit and got it done the same day. It was clearly written in the email to send my PP to CPP-O, despite they having my current US address. I think...

I hope so ..There should be some way or peoples who are out of canada to know when their PP has been mailed out, so that they can better track them. The current Ecas system can be used to acknowldege PP receipt and when the PP is mailed..which they are not using it.

I have sent my PP from USA, which reached CPP-O on Feb 22nd..still waiting, since i did not send any return envelope. There is no way to track like the way other folks in Canada can track. All we can do is pray god and check our mailbox regular.

NOPE, alteast they should have sent email that they received PP or update that in Ecas system...However since i did FEdEx overnight from US, i was able to track that it reach ottawa, I really think peoples who are already in canada should take this issues with their Immigration Lawyers or legal...
