    Post-Secondary Diploma for graduate studies?

I suppose you are submitting your education records as evidence for being in Canada in a certain period of time (unlike the PR application you don't need to prove your education level in the citizenship application). Thus, if you have finished only your Master's in the relevant time period...

    A quick question about fringerprint

Yes, wait until they ask you, which is not always the case. I was asked to submit fingerprints. It is done only digitally with private contractors here in Ontario. These contractors need your File/Case no. to process your fingerprints and send it to the RCMP.

School Report Cards for JKG: Peel District Schools

Hi skhan123, We asked the KG teacher and she gave us a generic letter confirming that our son attended the 2 years of KG and that my wife always brought him and picked him up from school. We asked for a more "official" one and she gave us the same letter with the official school header. We got...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Actually yes. I hoped to do it anyway. I called Election Ontario and was told that I could do it as soon as I am a Canadian Citizen. In the Ceremony we found a VOTE flyer with the flag and Citizenship package you usually find on your reserved seat. The then Judge also urged us to vote, but she...

    Questions about the passport stamps

If you mean with both Non-English and English that the stamp has has for example the words EXIT/ENTRY in English and the date in some other language or the other way, then you have to translate it. if it has all information in both English and the other language then not.

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Hello again, We had our test today. Was really a very smooth experience. The officer was very nice and said from the beginning where we could have an issue (4 months gap between our 2 passports), but he also told us when he thought that everything is ok. The rest of the interview were the...

Taking Child to the Citizenship Test

Hi, Sorry for hijacking the thread :). I have a related question: Do I have to take my son's passport along with the other documents to the test? In the CIC page it is said to take all submitted documents. My son's passport has some untranslated stamps (he and my wife went in vacation one...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Congarts PR42LONG and peter_h. It looks like they really mean it with shortening the times. Update: As I told you my wife and I got a letter to submit fingerprints on Jan 22. The fingerprints would go to St. Clair although we live in Mississauga. We did that 3 days later. Last week I called...

    Fingerprints

In my case I think it was because my name combination (and its variations) is very common. I also think that the country of origin is important, since some countries have less than optimal record keeping procedures ;). What I really want to know is if they check you only for criminal records...

    Passport Translation

Hi canadp Thx for the reply. Most of the visas are within the past 4 years from the date of the application (some stamps are after), but I understood form the the Citizenship application guide (point 3) that only the Passports' biographical page(s) is required to launch the application. And...

    Passport Translation

Hi, Since the processing time for the 2013 applications seem to be somehow faster then those of the previous years, I now think that there is a slim chance that my application (May 2013) may actually progress this year and I have to take the test. From posts here I understood that the officers...

    MAY 2013 Applications (Citizenship)

Hi all, I've been following this very useful thread for some time now, but since I believed, that our application will take 2-3 years anyway, I thought that my time line would be boring :-). I called the call center only once in August to ask about the AOR. It seems now that there are some...
