Guri... Its not about how u do it. Its about the official length of the course. If someone who has actually completed the course could answer. . Would resolve the query. What is the OFFICIAL LENGTH of the course. SOMEONE PLS HELP...

Thanks Aman. I was a bit worried about this ... the official length of the course is still not known to me. Do you know how do they have the semesters ? are they continous ? September, January, May and September ? Or are there some breaks too ?Also is it possible to complete the studies sooner...

Sabby, I think the original question is.. what is the official length of this course with 2 semesters - 8 months ? Is it ONE YEAR ? Also, what is the official length of a course with 4 semesters ( 16 months or 2 Yrs ? ) . With that answered, the CIC website will clear ours doubts.

Hey Vishal.. No the receipt is not necessary.. I applied with TTA acknowledgement . At times the colleges take a lot of time sending you the receipt.. so I dont think you shud keep waiting on that for lodging your file.

hi Harry.. could you pls elaborate on what u mean when u say .. the same course can b completed in just one yr instead of two ? How can one do that? And what would happen to the two yr student visa ? Will one be able to apply for work permit right after that one yr ?

Hey Varun , I am somewhat in a similar confusion as you are... I did BCA from Jalandhar , then have been working with IBM Gurgaon for 6 years. I am going to Humber College for a 2 Yr PG Course. And yes, I have the same fear of getting a job . Please let me know what you find too.
