I paid 3 grand for an immigration consultant. Now I look back and think "what a waste of money". I could have figured it all out on my own. This forum is more helpful than immigration consultants.

You won't have any problems... especially since you will have the working holiday visa. My husband is here on a 6 month visitor visa while we wait for PR and we didn't have any issues at all.

@Mlneron.... I have the exact same situation as you. My husband had to do fingerprints and get an RCMP clearance because he lived/worked in Canada previously.

I went through the same thing. Just explain to them that you would like your wife to visit with you while you wait for her residency application to go through. My husband was given 6 month visitors visa right away.

I just paid the second half of my immigration fees ($490)..... do I send a copy of the receipt to the Mississauga office where my application first went or the Sydney office where my application is now?
