    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Thank you. Returning to the boards here, realised that I posted in the wrong thread, my app actually outland. Hope my attention to detail in the application was better than to thread titles.

    October 2019 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Sent my package - hopefully complete - at beginning of October, watching the tracking for expected arrival shortly. Good luck all.

    ****OCTOBER 2019 Inland Spousal Sponsorship****

Sent mine off tuesday and watching it wind its way to Sydney. Most impressive organisation, plxxyp - I'm jealous. I made a cover sheet with list of all documents and did use some paperclips, but was cautious about putting in folders and doing much more as I read (or thought I read) somewhere...

    Sponsoring my spouse

A question that I suspect is off-base: if one is sponsoring one's spouse and dependent children (i.e. children of the spouse, whether the sponsor's children or not), IMM5481 does not apply? I assume it only applies if sponsoring just children, without spouse, but sometimes these instructions...

    Sponsoring my spouse

Thank you. So complete answer for the original poster is: dependent children (all, regardless of whether intending to immigrate) go on the main application form, all children including non-dependents go on the additional information form. (My mistake on that additional info form) Police...

    Spousal sponsorship

Hello all. Preparing files for me (citizen living abroad) to apply for my common-law spouse and our children (one mine, two step-children, not adopted). We all live together and have since my child was born more than three years ago. A few minor questions (that I can think of now) that I'd...

    Child born abroad

Thanks. Unfortunately no immediate plans to move back to Canada (although eventually). Are you saying just apply for PR now and the residence obligations don't apply to a child? Sounds like that would be a major hole in the legislation, i.e. drive a truck through it, so I'm a bit skeptical it...

    Child born abroad

I suppose here I'm just confirming what I expect to be the case (from reading in various places). I've recently had a child born abroad and would, of course, like to get citizenship for the wee one. My situation: I was born abroad, but family was/is all Canadian (for well over a hundred...
