    Unfortunately no. he is born Canadian but this is not enough according to them. One of the parents must have a medicare for the son to get it, otherwise, the child just can not has it alone.

    I have just called the RAMQ people and they told me he is not eligible. He would be eligible if any of his parents has a work permit with the name of the employer but not an open permit (which my husband has). unfortunately.....
