    Please help me

You can't do anything until it is resolved. If you apply anyway, they will suspend the application pending the outcome. If I were you, I'd get a lawyer and have him/her lean on the prosecutor to either proceed with the case or drop it. Depending on your country's laws, he should have the...

    Sponsor spouse From India

PMM, For Philippines I notice its 2 or 3 months. Is this time included in the time to process posted in the CIC website? So if it says 4-6 months, you add an additional 2 or 3 months on top of that? Cheers

    Right of Permanent Residence Fee

The guide indicates that paying the Right of Permanent Residence Fee when you submit your application may decrease your processing time by 2 months. Does anyone believe that? I suppose it's one less thing they have to ask for but I dunno.

    Sponsoring a wife.

Dynamide: So at the time you made your application for permanent residence you were married and did not include her on the application and have her examined? The application clearly shows that you have to indicate your spouse even if she is not accompanying you. If this is the case, I think...

    Eligibility Assessment - Sponsor

Section E Question 16 asks "Have you been charged with an offence under an Act of Parliament punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of at least 10 years?" I have read in the IP 2 manual that if this were the case your application would be suspended. I understand this question to mean...

PMM: Background Check- why a 2nd CSIS check?

PMM, an attorney informed me that CIC has the right to refuse an application on the basis of criminality. If its not against a family - immediate or extended - and not sexual, do I really have this to worry about? Im just wondering if this is just a scare to get me to hire them. Or maybe I am...

I (The Sponsor) has a Fraud charge...Am I still Eligeble

its very unlikely this will affect you. it has to be a violent crime or a crime against a family member or a crime that is sexual in nature. if the fraud was against immigration somehow that would obviously affect you. otherwise, you're ok......

    please explain it to me....

Hi med...thanks very much for your feedback. I feel fairly confident with the documentation; although, there is a fairly big age gap.....25 (her) and 41 (me)...so 16 years difference...but neither of us think of it, we're just in love and we don't care about our ages. Do you think that would...

I see, wow, it sounds like things are getting finally close for you after a long wait. I'm happy to hear that; although, it's unfortunate you had to wait so long. I'm sponsoring my wife in the philippines and I'm becoming increasingly aware that we're going to need alot of documentation to...

    Inland versus Outland

I get the impression from the reading I've done that applications for PR that are submitted by couples who are living in the same country tend to be processed slower than ones in which the couple is separated. Is this correct? There are couples here who have waited a few years. That's...

    US to Canada

A criminal record will not prevent you from sponsoring anyone. It's a bit more specific than that.
