I am yet to receive the AOR. Thomas Cook is taking a long time to tell me about the status of the DD. Since Char_Bonel is from philipines and has received the AOR, may i assume that NS, CHC distinguishes the application based on the country? Seniors please help. Thanks

I took my DD from ThomasCook and they are quite receptive but they dont have the information with them readily. They have a process to send an email to some Canadian agency in mumbai (details not provided by Thomascook) and on a reply from there, is my query answered. So its virtually becoming...

Thats nice to hear that someone's DD has been encashed. I checked last week, and still the DD remains to be encashed. Will let you know soon.

Thanks Afaraz. But I have a doubt. Is PCC by itself not valid after 3 months or the CHC doesnt consider PCC more than 3 months old? In both cases, it seems a bit weird. Any specific reasons? Please throw light.

Have you people started collating the other documents like PCC, employer certificates etc? In this waiting time, i think we can utilize it in a beneficial way. Please let me know your thoughts.

Yeah rite. But checking if your DD has been encashed or not is another way you can satisfy yourself that something is happening with your application at CIC. so may we share the categories under which we all filed? Please mention the respective NOC. Mine is 4131

You may check with your consultant, I'm sure he will have the DD application receipt which will have all the information on the DD.
