Hey Dbs, you were at the LA office yesterday? I was there to collect my passport too! We were probably sitting in the same room for a while. Congratulations to everybody who finally got their passport back!

I collected my passport in person in LA office this morning! I took an overnight fast train to get there, but finally I have it in my hand, and the end of the whole nightmare canada visa experience.

They said I can go there and collect in person. So I guess the last thing I can do is pay $400 for airline ticket and collect my passport, and I will have it back tomorrow.

This is frustrated! I got an email from the LA office regarding my email asking about my passport. They said I did not include a return envelope. But I swear I did and it is with regular $19.9 stamp (not a metered stamp). Any one can think of anything reason they refused to use my return...

I am still waiting for my passport.....cross my fingers and toes.

I fax them a letter and begging them to return my passport fast. I don't know if it will help, but just try all what I can do, and pray.

Just received my request passport email, and I mailed it to LA office, should arrive tomorrow at noon. Cross my finger they will return it back to me in a week. Keep praying

Did you and your parents apply at the same time? I don't think it is going to help at all visiting the LA office if you have already applied online. I went there trying to request urgent processing, they basically throw my application package out because I already applied online weeks ago. And...
