p.angie, I've been waiting for my wife's passport, we sent it Aug 15, 2012. I think there are others who sent before me and still waiting. What's your status on eCas? sridoy

So after more 2 months of my PPR, my application status on eCas changed from "Application Received" to "In Process". Hopefully in a week it will go to "Decision made"....fingers crossed:)

I will probably request for my CAIPS file next week. Did you guys order basic or premium?

I just tried logging into eCas using my ClientID and my details, and it worked. So when I am using my wife's details to log in I have to enter the Application File# ( the one starting with F000....).

That's really strange. I can only log on with my wife's details and not mine.

We got 1 file number.

I just checked ecas and now it says We received your application for permanent residence on December 28, 2011. We started processing your application on October 9, 2012. Medical results have been received. Earlier it said We started processing your application on June 7, 2012. So looks...

Same here. My passport was requested 2 months ago and ecas still says "application received".

I just got this email reply from bogota, in response to my email asking them about the status of my wife's passport: Good day, The passports were received by Bogota's office and are in your application. Sincerely, Salutations distinguées, Sinceramente, Immigration Section | Section...

Totally agree with ccunnington, that's what my lawyer told me as well.

doorsopen, Where did you get this info about passport being requested earlier on in the process? I was assuming that if the passport is requested and landing fees also asked to be paid, then they have definitely made a final decision regarding your case. sridoy

sabril27, We have a lawyer too but I paid the landing fees online myself, and sent the receipt to Bogota. I would suggest that you just confirm with your lawyer about this and make sure he paid the landing fees:) sridoy

We did the police check prior to filing as well.

ccunnington, It took 2 months to get my AOR from Bogota, similar to doorsopen. My wife did her meds before I filed the application. In your case the meds were done on 10-09-2012 right? That might be a possible reason for the delay in getting your AOR from Bogota. sridoy

Thanks sixrogue. We tried calling them sometime back and they told us it takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months. So I am hoping the passport will arrive any time now.

p.angie, I sponsored my wife who is from Ecuador in Dec 2011. We received a letter requesting her passport and landing fee on Aug 14, 2012. My wife sent her passport immediately on Aug 15, 2012 to Bogota and as of today Oct 1, 2012 we are still waiting for her passport. sridoy
