Yes I think ur right abt that but just cuz they been out of srilanka doesnt mean anything or have to take time to give visa just VO in colombo is not doing any job.. I am gonna request the gcms notes I think I cant wait anymore :(

Yes ur rite.. I am from canada my husband in jaffna.. if they can bring so many refugees in certain period of time y not the sponosred spouses we have all the rights especially we r canadian citizens.. we shd all do the protest in front of VO in colombo.. lolll

Hey what type of documents did they request.. and when you link ur account to cic does it state that they have started your background check.. I applied in November and they requested documents in feb and after that I didnt hear it has been 8 months..

My advise for you would be to call the local mp as it has been 1e months and they have to guve an answer cuz mp is someone who is in authority and so they would have to give a proper answer as to what is going on. Hi my husband in jaffna I am sponsoring him.. For the additional documents instead of asking for schedule A form they asked my husband to submit a travel form did anyone else got requested for that let me know.. But he never travelled outside of srilanka so on the form we put N/A and submitted it

From my understanding after having the interview they wont say it right away they call you after 2 or 3 days to inform you the result and if you are issued visa they will ask you to come pick it up.. Cuz one of my relavite had an interview and she did live in india and study so they asked about...
