I dont have it yet but cic said they sent it last dec 10.. If ever we're gonna quit our caregving job does anyone here know if we need to fill up some papers or we can just quit? My employer doesnt know how to release me. Does he need to inform service canada or canada revenue agency?

Im happy when i knew that they are moving fast now, too fast that they made a big leap on other 2010- march 2011 applicantS and started issuing owp to some april and even nov 2011 applicants.. Whats really going on now with CIC??! I hope boyzone's friend whos a visa officer has an answer...

@ kablas- i agree with you.. I have nothing against to those who got their owp in such a short period but cic should be systematic and process our papers orderly.. We all deserve it i know coz we finished the 24-month requirement but its so unjust knowing that other applicants are approved in...

Wow so it means that even if youre out of canada u can still get OWP.. So maybe girls, if we move to another province it wont matter... And besides were still inside canada ;D

@roxaida- Geez! We're on the same boat... But only thing is, my employer doesnt need me anymore by nxt yr..in ur case, im not sure about breaking the contract.. But for me i believe that its our choice if we want to stay still or leave our employer.. The only consequence is u wont be having any...

I already applied for PR and OWP and im planning to move to another province when my employer release me nxt year.. Is it ok to settle to other province while waiting for my OWP? Coz i also have 2 sisters in that province and i can stay with them while im unemployed.

yes you can.. I renewed mine last year, i was holding the green passport before (d old one) it will expire on 2012 but then i decided to renew it last year to change it to E-passport.

My timeline is a bit earlier than yours but i havent received that Client History Update Form until now. They started processing my application last feb 2011. I dont know if its a good or bad sign. At least on your case u know that there's progress on ur application while mine, i havent heard...
