sydney visa office sent an aOR for the additional documents they required from me... now lets the wait officially begin... again!!!

sydney visa office just sent me an email advising that they have received the requested additional documents I sent earlier last week and said "your application is currently with a visa officer". pray hard that they would process my application soon....

i sent in the requested additional documents last Tuesday and they sent me an email acknowledging receipt today and said :your application is currently with a visa officer. hope to hear good news from them soon....

tom111, average applications thru Sydney visa office take around 6-8 months - way faster than the Vietnam thru Singapore route, so good luck there. however, i'm not sure how they categorise your wife's case - since she's only here for study and does not have permanent residency or citizenship...

don't worry chipits, things will be fine... just that this procedure takes a bit of time to process and therefore makes us all angsty waiting, not knowing where our applications are... good luck!

misskay, it's the deadline they give me to obtain the police checks... im having nightmares because of these... esp. the one from Vietnam, they are such a pain in the a** to redo. i had to travel there the last time and it took almost 2 months. >:(

Canstralian/Oznadian, you should email Sydney to ask. They will reply you surely, although it's a bit slow. good luck.

Sydney VO just replied me regarding my query of extending the deadline... so on average it takes about 1 week for them to answer. im praying my police checks are going to be ready in time.... *fingers and toes crossed*

same reason with the above... hubby is Canadian and has a good job so he can support me if we are to start a family... anyway, I have received an email from Sydney VO saying interview is waived, and requesting for the police checks... so yeah... definitely they've touched my file. :)
