Have been waiting 3 weeks for them to return our passports.

Our file was transferred to Seattle last Nov after being in Buffalo for 12 months.We did medicals back last July.Sent our passports off 3 weeks ago.Not heard anything since.

so why do they need a letter from your current employer?

Do you have to stay with the same employer after to have pr? Or can you go and work where you want ?

5 more people who are in he same company have just been approved for PR .They have all only waited between 9 & 11 months and put their applications in after us.We have to wait until Feb before we can even contact Seattle because they moved it It makes me so mad. >:(

We contacted our local MP in the end and got then to email Buffalo to find out what was going on.

It takes ages .We sent our PR application off to Buffalo in Nov of last year after waiting 13 months for ANIP,We did not receive a file number until June of this year when they sent our request for medicals.
